Digital Literacy Program

Many individuals with IDD are affected by communication disabilities, which often impair social interactions and lead to feelings of isolation. The Digital Literacy Program (DLP) enhances the quality of life for individuals with communication disabilities through the use of assistive technology devices and personalized application programs. DLP participants receive education, training, and support to access technology that drives improved communication and supports their life and career goals.

When individuals who don’t speak can utilize technology to convey thoughts and words, the results can be transformative and even life-changing. This empowerment extends outward to family members, partners, caregivers, and circles of support.
